The South Carolina Education Lottery has officially released the winning numbers for its full lineup of drawings conducted on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Players across the Palmetto State who purchased tickets for multi-state jackpot games as well as regional and state-specific daily drawings are encouraged to check their tickets against the verified outcomes to determine if they hold a winning entry.

The headline drawing of the night came from the multi-state Mega Millions game, which offers multi-million-dollar rewards for participants who match the complete sequence. For the September 15 session, the five winning white balls drawn were 27, 36, 43, 57, and 58. The coveted gold Mega Ball number selected for the evening was 16. Ticket holders matching varying combinations of these numbers may qualify for tiered cash prizes depending on their total matches.

Alongside the major multi-state event, the state’s dedicated daily jackpot game, Palmetto Cash 5, also held its nightly drawing. The five winning numbers selected for the September 15 Palmetto Cash 5 game were 07, 21, 24, 30, and 39. This regional rolling jackpot game offers participants across South Carolina an opportunity to secure substantial payouts by matching the selected sequence.

The Pick 3 Plus FIREBALL game conducted both its midday and evening drawings on Tuesday, giving daily number enthusiasts two distinct chances to win. In the midday Pick 3 drawing, the selected sequence was 0-3-5, accompanied by a FIREBALL number of 5. Later in the evening, the second Pick 3 drawing produced the winning numbers 4-3-3, with the FIREBALL number established as 1.

Similarly, the Pick 4 Plus FIREBALL game delivered outcomes across its standard two-session daily schedule. The midday Pick 4 drawing yielded the combination 2-6-3-3, with the midday FIREBALL drawn as 5. During the evening drawing, the winning sequence shifted to 4-3-7-2, alongside an evening FIREBALL number of 1.

In the Cash Pop game, which features a single-number selection mechanic, identical results appeared across both sessions of the day. The midday drawing generated the winning number 15, and the evening drawing subsequently produced the exact same winning result of 15, providing payouts to players who selected that specific number in either drawing.

Lottery officials remind all participants that winning tickets are subject to standard validation procedures and strict redemption timeframes. Across all draw games operated by the South Carolina Education Lottery, winners are granted a claim window of 180 days from the official draw date. Failing to submit or redeem a winning ticket within this 180-day deadline results in the forfeiture of the prize.

The redemption process varies according to the total value of the payout won. For smaller prize amounts totaling up to $500, players can claim their winnings immediately in person. These entry-level payouts can be redeemed at any authorized South Carolina Education Lottery retail location across the state simply by presenting the physical, signed winning ticket to the clerk.

For mid-tier prizes ranging between $501 and $100,000, winners must process their claims by mail through the state lottery administration. To successfully collect prizes within this valuation tier, the claimant must sign the back of the winning ticket, complete an official lottery claim form, and provide a legible copy of a valid, government-issued photo identification.

To ensure secure delivery when mailing tickets valued from $501 to $100,000, lottery officials advise participants to make personal photocopies of all submitted materials and to utilize registered mail services. The claim package must be addressed to the SC Education Lottery, P.O. Box 11039, Columbia, SC 29211-1039.

For major windfalls and high-tier winnings exceeding $100,000, claims cannot be processed through retailers or standard mail services. Instead, winners of amounts above $100,000 must visit the South Carolina Education Lottery Headquarters in person to complete the formal redemption process and verify their identity before receiving payouts.

The in-person claims facility, known as the Columbia Claims Center, is located at 1303 Assembly Street in Columbia, SC 29201. Claimants appearing in person are required to present the signed winning ticket, a completed claim form, a government-issued photo ID, and their physical Social Security card for legal identity verification. High-tier winners visiting the center also have the option to arrange an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to deposit their funds directly into a designated bank account.

To assist participants with future entries, the lottery maintains a regular drawing timetable throughout the week for all active games. The daily numbers games—including Pick 3, Pick 4, and Cash Pop—conduct their midday drawings seven days a week at 12:59 p.m. ET, followed by their evening drawings at 6:59 p.m. ET. The Palmetto Cash 5 drawing is also held every evening at 6:59 p.m. ET.

For national multi-state jackpot games, drawings follow specific weekday schedules broadcast later at night. The Mega Millions drawings take place twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 11:00 p.m. ET, while Powerball drawings are conducted three times per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at 10:59 p.m. ET. Players are encouraged to retain their tickets safely and verify all results through official lottery channels.
