JustFor.Fans Founder Dominic Ford Brings Global Creators Together for Inaugural Collab Week on Fire Island

The iconic shores of Fire Island served as the backdrop for a major gathering of digital talent as adult entertainer and JustFor.Fans chief executive officer Dominic Ford launched the inaugural Collab Week Fire Island. The event brought together dozens of high-profile adult performers and online creators from across the globe, transforming the celebrated New York summer destination into a bustling hub for creative collaboration and networking.

Fire Island has long held a storied reputation as a landmark vacation haven for the LGBTQ+ community, renowned for its vibrant culture, distinct architectural charm, and rich history. By selecting this particular coastal setting, organizers aimed to give models an inspiring environment where they could produce collaborative digital material while experiencing the island’s unique community atmosphere firsthand.

Throughout the multi-day gathering, attendees participated in a wide range of social events and local festivities that define the island's seasonal nightlife. Among the highlights of the week was an appearance at Doll Invasion, where creators were seen dancing alongside pop sensation Kim Petras. The gathering allowed models to immerse themselves directly in the energetic entertainment scene that draws visitors to the area each year.

The itinerary also provided creators with numerous opportunities to socialize in some of Fire Island’s most recognizable venues. Participants gathered at Reflections to mingle and sing, while later taking part in late-night festivities at the famous Underwear Party, hosted at the Ice Palace in the historic community of Cherry Grove. These settings allowed performers to connect informally off-camera between their scheduled collaborative video and photo shoots.

Several prominent industry figures were featured among the attendees, capturing attention across social media channels throughout the week. Notable creators taking part in the inaugural event included Alfonso, Matthew Ellis, Roxas Caelum, Grant Ducati, and Jace Starr, among many others who shared glimpses of their island experience with followers worldwide.

For the organizers, Collab Week was designed to be far more than a standard business summit or structured work retreat. The primary mission centered on uniting content creators within a supportive, like-minded peer group, enabling them to build genuine professional relationships and shared memories while exploring the destination together.

Ford, who has been visiting Fire Island for 21 years, expressed deep personal affection for the location and noted how meaningful it was to introduce a fresh generation of performers to its distinctive charm. He emphasized that the magic of the island is best experienced as a collective, making it an ideal setting for fostering community among digital creators who often work independently.

Approximately 60 adult models and influencers made the trip to participate in the first-year gathering. According to organizers, the response from the inaugural cohort was overwhelmingly positive, with participants finding the shared experience both professionally productive and personally affirming.

Reflecting on the execution of the first event, Ford explained that managing the initial run provided valuable operational insights into the logistical realities of hosting a creator retreat in the area. Having successfully navigated the opening year, organizers now have a clearer understanding of attendee expectations and the practical aspects of managing group programming on the island.

Looking forward to future editions, planning is already underway to refine the experience and make it more accessible to a broader roster of creators. Potential modifications include exploring post-season dates, when local accommodation rates decrease, which would help lower overall travel and lodging expenses for participants in the second year.

The Fire Island initiative follows the successful rollout of Collab Week Puerto Vallarta, which made its debut the previous December. The Mexican resort city served as the original testing ground for the collaborative concept, drawing substantial interest from creators seeking organized group production trips.

The inaugural Puerto Vallarta event welcomed more than 200 models, offering an extensive schedule of daily activities spread across numerous local venues. The greater availability of hospitality infrastructure and comparatively lower overall costs contributed to making the initial Mexican retreat a large-scale success with high participant satisfaction.

Creators will not have to wait until next summer's return to Fire Island to participate in another platform-sponsored getaway. The Puerto Vallarta edition is scheduled to return during the first week of December, with organizers preparing an expanded lineup of programming and events across the city.

Attendance for the upcoming winter retreat in Puerto Vallarta is expected to exceed the numbers from its debut year. Models verified on the JustFor.Fans platform can already access event details and submit their RSVPs directly through the company's official website as preparations continue.
