Deadly Co-Worker Dispute in Henry County Neighborhood Leaves Two Dead and One Hospitalized

A deadly confrontation between co-workers in a quiet Henry County residential community culminated in a double fatality and left a third man hospitalized on Wednesday morning. Authorities have confirmed that a verbal altercation turned into a murder-suicide in the driveway of a local home, leaving neighbors shaken and investigators searching for answers.

According to findings released by the Henry County Police Department, the violence erupted following an argument among several individuals in the driveway of a residence located in the South River Manor subdivision. What began as a verbal dispute quickly escalated into fatal gunfire, catching bystanders off guard in the middle of a standard weekday morning.

Investigators identified the shooter as 43-year-old Kuilang Wang. Officials stated that Wang produced a firearm during the heated exchange and opened fire on two of his colleagues who were seated inside a nearby vehicle, unleashing multiple rounds before turning the weapon upon himself.

One of the victims inside the car, identified by authorities as 43-year-old Yuan Su, was fatally struck and died from his injuries at the scene. Another colleague sitting in the vehicle, 47-year-old Bo Li, suffered gunshot wounds during the attack and required urgent medical intervention.

Emergency medical personnel quickly responded to the location and transported Li to Piedmont Henry Hospital. As detectives continued their preliminary review of the incident, hospital staff kept Li under ongoing treatment for the injuries he sustained in the shooting.

Law enforcement officers were initially dispatched to the scene along Limbaugh Valley Drive at approximately 10:36 a.m. on Wednesday after reports of gunfire reached emergency dispatchers. Upon arriving, responding units secured the immediate perimeter and assessed the situation, quickly confirming that the shooter was deceased and that there was no active, ongoing danger to the wider public.

A sizable area surrounding the home was cordoned off with yellow police tape to preserve physical evidence as investigators launched their forensic examination. Aerial footage taken over the neighborhood captured a heavy police presence, with emergency vehicles lining the street while detectives processed the residence and its surrounding driveway.

Physical evidence at the scene demonstrated the sudden and violent nature of the attack. Visible damage to the vehicle in the driveway included a completely shattered window as well as a distinct bullet hole puncturing the driver's side door, illustrating where the gunfire penetrated the cabin where the victims were seated.

During the initial phase of the on-scene response, news cameras documented officers patting down two men and guiding them into the back of patrol vehicles for further questioning. Authorities noted that the individuals were not placed in handcuffs, indicating they were being treated as potential witnesses rather than suspects as police attempted to reconstruct the timeline of events.

Crucial early details regarding the altercation emerged from an eyewitness who communicated with reporters through a mobile translation application before official police releases were finalized. The witness recounted seeing individuals engaged in a heated argument directly outside the residence just moments before one of the participants produced a firearm and began shooting.

The sudden burst of violence generated deep shock and distress among residents of the South River Manor subdivision, who widely consider their neighborhood to be peaceful, predictable, and exceptionally safe. The presence of crime scene tape and emergency sirens disrupted what is typically a quiet suburban environment.

Neighbors living nearby described the homeowners associated with the property as pleasant, polite, and unproblematic individuals who kept a low profile. Several community members recalled that the residents were consistently friendly, noting they would regularly smile and wave whenever they were seen walking their dogs through the area.

Multiple residents stressed that violent occurrences are virtually unheard of along their streets, expressing total bewilderment that a workplace-related dispute could spill over into their subdivision so destructively. Neighbors reiterated that severe criminal violence simply does not happen in their close-knit enclave.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, local community members expressed a collective desire to rally together to provide support for the families devastated by the loss of life and severe injuries. Neighbors voiced prayers for the healing of those affected and expressed hope that unity would help the neighborhood process the unexpected trauma.

The Henry County Police Department continues to conduct an active and comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Detectives remain tasked with uncovering the specific professional or personal motives that drove the fatal dispute among the three co-workers on Limbaugh Valley Drive.
